Units in a wheatfield which are not moving or firing cannot be seen by enemy troops. . FOREST Forest terrain contains uncultivated stands of trees and bushes. Forests offer protection from enemy fire, and significantly slow the movement of troops. . ORCHARD Orchards contain groves of peach, pear, or apple trees. Orchards offer some protection from enemy fire, and slow the movement of troops. .. ROCKY/BOULDERS Rocky terrain contains large boulders and bushes. Rocky terrain, especially boulders, offers protection from enemy fire, and significantly slows the movement of troops. . MARSH Marsh terrain contains puddles and wet ground. Marsh significantly slows the movement of troops. . ELEVATION Elevation affects movement and combat. Units at a higher elevation than their opponents are more effective in fire and melee combat. Uphill movement is also slower than normal.
